1824. The year that Beethoven wrote his Ninth Symphony with its beautiful finale of Ode to Joy. George IV was King of England, Charles X of France and in the USA James Monroe was President. In the same year in Birmingham, England, Charles Green was a jeweller.
The company has remained in the hands of the Green family since 1824, and to this day manufactures in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter. Respected for the highest quality and unrivalled service, the company has been honoured by the jewellery trade in general with the award of UK Jewellery Manufacturer of the Year twice.
Tom Green is the fifth generation family member and managing director. He presides over a team of highly skilled craftsmen and customer services personnel. The craftsmen work using time-honoured methods incorporated with modern technology.
